The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was established in the year 2002 with the aim of providing inclusive technology education to students from all over India and thereby creating responsible citizens who would contribute to the betterment of their families, society and nation. The Department has well-furnished laboratories equipped with the necessary servers and computers which are installed and updated regularly with various software packages. The Department has highly qualified and dedicated academic faculty members. The department organizes National level Technical Symposium / National Conference/ Workshop /FDP programs to promote closer interaction between academic and research scholars. Our faculty and students are very enthusiastic in doing Research and Development works.

Vision

To emerge as a world class technology applying and imparting knowledge in Computer Science and Engineering through quality education and to provide enthusiastic professionals with commitment. To offer up to date and flexible programs which will allow our graduates to be competitive in the job market. We strive to provide hands-on approach in teaching computer related courses. To this end we are increasing the capacity of our computer laboratories as well as equipping them with the latest in hardware and software.

Mission

To produce highly competent and globally employable engineers in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. To create and disseminate knowledge for the betterment of mankind. To encourage entrepreneurship skills among students. To inculcate human values among the student community and make them realize their commitment to the society. To provide an excellent education in all computer related fields. Our main task is to prepare students for careers in industry or to pursue advanced graduate studies. Also a part of our mission is to provide a teaching environment that assures depth, originality and critical thinking.

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

  • Problem analysis : Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using the first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • Design/development of solutions : Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
  • Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
  • Modern tool usage : Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering IT tools including prediction and modeling for complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
  • An engineer and society : Apply reasoning strengthened by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
  • Environment and sustainability : Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge and need for sustainable development.
  • Ethics : Apply ethical principles and be committed to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
  • Individual and team work : Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
