The department of Humanities and Science was established in the year 2002. It is a Multi – disciplinary department that serves the students of all branches in B.E curriculum. The Department provides in-depth knowledge in basic sciences which forms the back bone for all Engineering discipline and also in enhancing the communication and soft-skills of the students. The department aims at doing an integrated work to improve the standard of the students and help them to achieve tremendous feats in their respective fields.

Vision

The Vision of the department is to provide technical skills in the fundamentals subjects such as English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry that provide the foundation for engineering fundamental studies-experimental, analytical, computational and designing abilities with Interpersonal skills and also in communication skills that help students to express themselves effectively to make them the best qualified students for future needs. The faculty of the department strives to be dynamic and competitive in teaching and research to meet the engineering and technical requirements of the students.

Mission

The Mission of Department of H & S is to encourage advanced teaching learning process and quality research at the individual, departmental and institutional level with the core objective of creating academic excellence in the fundamental services. It also undertakes to build quality based knowledge and human resource capacity. The department strives to provide quality education relevant to the professional needs of engineering and technology and pursue research and development to keep the faculty in tune with scientific methodology and recent developments in technical advancement and social up liftment of our country.
